31ST JULY - 5TH AUGUST 2024 | AVILA, SPAIN

INTERNATIONAL CELLO SUMMER FEST

CELLOBRATION is a Suzuki cello meeting that will take place in Avila, Spain, from July 31st to August 5th, 2024. A learning experience that aims to bring together the passion for music, the desire to learn, and the love of promoting a global education through the cello.

Our goal is to guide children to express themselves, share and understand music through this instrument, and thus strengthen the bonds of the Suzuki community. For this purpose, we will have a teaching team of recognized international prestige and aligned with our values.

It is not only a meeting of young cellists, families, and teachers, it is intended to be a party, a great celebration.

Let's Cellobrate!

LET'S CELLOBRATE!

ABOUT US

CELLOBRATION was born from a genuine friendship and a common passion. We are Bárbara González, Glòria Rodoreda, and Lucía Díez: three friends, musicians, and cello teachers specialized in the Suzuki Method. Our connection goes beyond music itself; we firmly believe in shared learning and the development of human capabilities.

For us, music is a powerful, yet simple tool. It is a way for us to get closer to young cellists, to understand their worlds, and to contribute something meaningful to their lives. It is not only about teaching them to play an instrument but also about accompanying them in their personal and emotional growth, together with their families.

ACCESSIBILITY AND DIVERSITY
To make the course accessible to families from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates cultural diversity through music.

VALUES

The essence of the Suzuki meeting is not only musical enrichment but the creation of a lively and supportive community. Our aim is for each person to feel that they belong to a group united by a shared passion for the cello. Through all the activities that will take place, we will set the grounds for a space where everyone supports and inspires each other. This sense of community not only enhances our musical skills but also teaches us the importance of working together towards common goals.

We are better together!

Love of music is at the heart of the Suzuki Method. But beyond the love of music, we seek to cultivate a deep love of the learning process, of perseverance, and personal and collective growth. This love also extends to the way we interact with each other, encouraging a warm, welcoming, and mutually supportive environment.

CELLOBRATION's approach is to promote three fundamental values that are essential not only for music, but for life as well: love, respect, and community. These principles will not only enrich our musical experience but also strengthen the bonds between all the participants of the meeting.

Respect is a pillar of our meeting. This respect manifests itself in attentiveness, active listening, and appreciation of each person's efforts and achievements, regardless of level, age, culture, or ability. Respect creates an environment where everyone feels valued and where learning can flourish in a safe and positive space.
